In 2017 KOM Coaching will be working with Devon Cycling Holidays to provide 1, 2 or 3 day ‘King of the Moors’ Challenge events. The events will be ideal for those wanting more of a challenge as riders will take on some on the mightiest climbs on Dartmoor - as seen in the Tour of Britain, in Britain’s ‘100 Greatest Climbs’ and on the ‘Official 100 Climbs’ list on Strava. The optional third day will venture onto Exmoor too for more of the same!
The idea is to offer tailored riding days and training camps for riders wanting a challenge, whatever their level.
Martin from KOM Coaching explains what makes him tick;
I’ve had a life-long love of cycling. In fact I love cycling so much that I’ve made a career out of it. I’ve been coaching since 2001 and have worked for councils, national charities, British Cycling and as a freelancer; training instructors, coaches and ride leaders, delivering cycling sessions and prescribing training plans.”
I’m sure you’ll agree that the breadth of his cycle coaching, instructing and leading experience and qualifications is unrivalled with almost 20 years of experience at coaching, leading and instructing groups and individuals.
You might think that all that time working in cycling would dampen his enthusiasm. Well, you would be wrong! Martin just can’t get enough when it comes to cycling. He likes nothing more than sharing his passion and enthusiasm for the sport and past time of cycling.
“I love guiding rides – I have a lot of experience to offer and am motivated by helping others along the way whether it be getting to the top of the next hill, or taking their racing to the next level. Seeing others achieve their goals, no matter how big or small, is what drives me on.”
Take up the ‘King of the Moors’ challenge and Martin will be with you every pedal-rev of the way!
